Third place at Gymkhana Fest number three. That's how I'd sum up my weekend in France — and I'm still buzzing about it.

It was the ultimate road trip. I drove my E90 M3 from the UK — a seventeen-hundred-mile round trip — to compete at Gymkhana Fest number three, organized by Alexandre Claudin at Transpolis in Saint-Maurice-de-Rémens and held for World Drift Day.

Thirty-two drivers showed up from six countries: France, Spain, the UK, Belgium, Switzerland and Germany. The course was a timed run through obstacles — the kind of course Ken Block turned into an art form — and some of those cars were pushing seven to eight hundred horsepower. Mine's a lot more modest, but it's earned its keep.

Friday was press day — giving people passenger rides, shooting content and just enjoying the event. Saturday was race day, and somehow I found myself on the podium. Third overall.

After that, I didn't head straight home. We pushed on to Switzerland, jumped into a massive lake, hiked some small mountains, then drove back. The E90 didn't miss a beat the whole way. It's been through a lot with me, and it keeps helping me win.

Next up is Formula G next weekend — the season finale. If it goes well, there's a real shot at taking the series. Things are going well. Just gotta keep pushing.
